THE RECKLESS DRIVER OF DESTINY

Image
He sits on the wheels and smiles to himself. He is the “King of the Roads”. He starts the engine and off he goes. His speed is always in the neighborhood of 140km/hr. He must get to his destination as fast as possible, therefore he has no regards for other road users. He races along with the need to get there “now” pushing him on. [πŸ‘‹πŸ™‹πŸ’ƒ Hi! He loses control since he was on high speed and had not observed the SHARP BEND sign that warned him earlier. At this time it’s too late to stop the vehicle and his car plunges down the ditch. The car is wrecked and he is terribly injured....

WHO ARE YOU: SINNER OR SAINT?

Image
There are only two sets of people that are on the face of the Earth right now. God only acknowledges us either as Sinners or Saints. There is no middle ground and no in-betweens. Everyone who has not received God’s greatest gift of Salvation and forgiveness of sins in Jesus Christ is a sinner no matter how good they may think they are. Those who have come to God just as they are, Sinners, and have repented of their disobedient life, their sins against God and man, are washed clean by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, and are those God regards as Saints. A Saint is not one who has never sinned(for there is no such a one except Jesus Christ) but he is one who has acknowledged the wretchedness of his or her sinful lifestyle(Isaiah 1vs 18), acknowledged how far his sins has separated him from God his maker and comes in repentance(a turning away from sin) before God and accepts the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ on the Cross for his sins(John 3:16, Romans 10 vs 8-10). DO YOU DRESS TO KILL?

“Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh” – Matthew 18:7. [πŸ‘‹πŸ™‹πŸ’ƒ Hi! Don't understand  English ? Have a great read!] I have had the prompting for some weeks now to put forward this question to everyone and to discuss the topic it addresses, but I have had a lot of heart searching because on few occasions when I had attempted to do so, I had met with rebuffs and I have heard these words many times, “it is none of your business what I wear”. I risk being seen as carnal by some “spiritual” Christians who feel they are not affected by this matter I wish to consider. I wish to speak the truth though blunt I may be. However bitter the truth may be, it is the only medicine that can cure human malady. Evil thrive...

DON’T GIVE UP, YOU SHALL COME TO REHOBOTH!

Image
“Isaac’s servants dug in the valley and discovered a well of fresh water there. But the herdsmen of Gerar quarreled with Isaac’s herdsmen and said, ‘The water is ours!’ So he named the well Esek, because they disputed with him. Then they dug another well, but they quarreled over that one also; so he named it Sitnah. He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth, saying, ‘Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish in the land’.” (Genesis 26:19-22). [πŸ‘‹πŸ™‹πŸ’ƒ Hi! Don't understand  English ? THE BEST OFFER EVER!

Image
It is often said that the best things in life are free. A very good example of such best things is the air we breathe. Imagine we had to pay for every milliliter of air we breathe, I don’t think even the richest men could pay for it. I noticed that Facebook has a peculiar caption on its Log on page which states “Free, and always shall be free”. I wondered how Facebook could offer such services of connecting people on a social platform without a charge. I also couldn’t understand how Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, made his money nor how Facebook group could be listed in the Stock Exchange if it was actually “free”. Well, now I know it takes partnership with major companies like General Motors(GM) and charges on advertorials to get us a “free” Facebook. Such is the nature of free things; they are free because someone has paid for it. [πŸ‘‹πŸ™‹πŸ’ƒ Hi! Don't understand  English ? WELCOME HOME!

Image
The story is told of a Missionary and a prominent Politician who both boarded an Airplane back to their country from a foreign country. It is said that when they arrived at the Airport, a great crowd of people had gathered to give the politician a rousing welcome. It is said that the Missionary had no body around to welcome him and moved away unnoticed by the crowd. It is said that the Missionary felt miffed that he was not the subject of such applause the politician had got. It is also said that while he was in this dejected state, God spoke to him saying, "My son, you are not home yet. Do not worry for I will be there to welcome you when you come Home." Friends, like this Missionary, do we feel unappreciated and unrewarded for our labours in the service of the Lord? Let us not worry for it is because we are not yet at home. [πŸ‘‹πŸ™‹πŸ’ƒ Hi!
